Tacada held its 24th annual Spring Breakout event in support of the Edmonton Down Syndrome Society (EDSS) on Saturday, May 28th! This event saw over 400 people in attendance and featured a silent and live auction. It was a fantastic evening!
We are so proud to announce that, this year’s event raised an outstanding $79,141 for the EDSS, bringing our 24-year total to $982,991!!
Thank you to all who donated, attended and volunteered their time to help with the planning, set up and execution of this event. It truly does take a team effort.
The proceeds from this event will help the EDSS restore many of their in-person social and recreational programming including weekly fitness classes, summer camps planned around literacy and numeracy, social skills like cooking and other crafts and hobbies.
Thank you all again. We are looking forward to reaching our 1 Million dollar milestone next year at our 25th event. We hope to see you there!
