Supporting both Daytona Homes and City Homes Master Builder; the Architectural Technologist is responsible for coordinating and producing accurate construction and master drawings in a timely manner.
- Produce accurate construction drawings in a timely fashion
- Produce and review all master plans ensuring they are compliant with company specifications and current codes and bylaws
- Participate in all required specification or design changes, therefore, revise all master models and elevations as needed
- Prioritizes assigned tasks in accordance with established project schedules by adhering to time frames and deadlines
- Maintain documentation and drawings for building permit applications; ensure current building codes are being accurately applied to all files
- Maintain efficient organization of electronic copy records of all design/drawing documents, permits and correspondence
- Communicate directly with Architectural Controllers and planning and development departments of various municipalities
- Collaborate with the sales team to address any necessary corrections, additions, errors or omissions in signed plans
- Other duties and responsibilities assigned
- Architectural Technology Diploma
- proficient with use of AutoCAD (or related software),
- Have used ERP software (ideally Newstar)
- experience in residential housing design and drafting
- Ability to work on multiple projects at once
- Strong time management, organization, and planning skills
