Purpose

The purpose of the Marketing Coordinator is to support the marketing department in planning, executing, and monitoring marketing campaigns across various channels to promote our brand, products, and services. The Marketing Coordinator will work with the corporate Tacada Marketing team to ensure that marketing activities are effectively coordinated, deadlines are met, and marketing objectives are achieved. This role involves assisting with the creation of content, assisting with social media content, analyzing campaign performance, and conducting market research to inform strategic decisions.

Responsibilities
  • Support the Corporate Marketing Team with ongoing marketing initiatives
  • Have a keen eye for design, and knowledge in Canva to update design templates as needed.
  • Aid in the creation of engaging content for various platforms including website, social media, newsletters, and print materials. This may also include writing compelling blog posts, articles, and educational materials related to our industry.
  • Copywriting for social media and web content, press releases, award submissions, blogs, etc.
  • Implement SEO strategies to improve website visibility and drive organic traffic.
  • Oversee email marketing campaigns, including content creation, design within a template, list management, and performance analysis.
  • Monitor and analyze marketing metrics from digital newsletters, social media and campaigns to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly. This includes reach, engagement, and conversion rates to optimize campaign effectiveness and return on investment.
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in marketing and communications, particularly within the home builder industry. Continuously evaluate and refine marketing strategies based on data-driven insights, client feedback, and market dynamics to maximize results and stay ahead of competitors.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including sales, product development, and external agencies to align marketing efforts with overall business goals.
  • Assist in brand development while maintaining a consistent brand image and adhering to branding guidelines

Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of the principals, concepts, standards and best practices in the marketing field
  • Knowledge of digital best practices, user experience, social media landscape
  • Strong eye for design and attention to detail
  • Experience managing social media accounts and content calendars
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), or similar software.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills for creating compelling content across various platforms.
  • Experience with copywriting for social media, web content, blogs, press releases, and other marketing materials.
  • Experience with tools such as Google Analytics, social media analytics, and email marketing platforms.
  • Experience with content management systems (e.g. WordPress and Elementor web page builder), CRM systems (e.g. Hubspot), and other marketing technology considered an asset
  • Current knowledge and awareness regarding developing industry and digital trends
  • Bachelors degree or diploma in Marketing or related field
